It was a privilege to attend the Global Neuro Advanced Course – Neurosurgery with Anatomical Specimens in London. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you and the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), in partnership with Global Neuro, for making my participation possible through the bursary support programme. As a neurosurgery resident from Benin, a low- and middle-income country (LMIC), this opportunity was particularly meaningful. The course provided an invaluable learning experience, and I returned home with enhanced knowledge, renewed motivation, and an even stronger commitment to becoming an excellent neurosurgeon, despite the constraints and challenges of my training environment. I am deeply grateful for the investment you and your colleagues are making in the development of future neurosurgeons.
