Prof. Keyoumars Ashkan is awarded MBE in King’s New Year’s Honours

SBNS Council Member Prof. Keyoumars Ashkan is awarded an MBE for services to
Neurosurgery in the New Year’s Honours List.

"As a doctor I do what I do only because the health and welfare of my patients come above
all. To be so privileged to receive recognition form the highest level in this way, however, is a
great commendation of the path I have chosen and the ultimate support to strengthen my
resolve."
